I would definitely recommend The Descent and maybe Texas Chainsaw (the one with Jessica Biel on it) . I saw those on dates so maybe im partial to those.
The Descent definitley as far as recent movies go.
Oh yes, try Vacancy too with Kate Beckinsale. Will make you think twice about staying in rooms in rundown motels.
How about What Lies Beneath? Why limit yourself to new movies?
