Preferably, Texas Hold'em. (Pot limit...limit..or no limit.) I rarely play stud
or draw poker, anymore. (They're the best games to play, if you want to

Me, me, me!!!
I start loosing after about 4 hours though.
what's the one that comes with vista ultimate? I play that.
...and usually it's the women who have the most patience.

Me of course. I prefer No-Limit but the $3-6 Pot Limit was the game that made me win big on my only visit to Vegas. $300 at the end of the night.
I also used to play online poker until I found out how a lot of your opponents there are seasoned players who uses betting analysis programs to aid them on reading you. Plus the fact that it consumed every waking second of my day. In the end, I think I lost $500 online which is actually chump change compared to the horror stories I hear about other people who are now bankrupt.
I've never played Vista's poker. Does it have an online option?

I've won a fair share online. I've lost a fair share, also.

most i've ever won online was $300 (£37). i play at many sites.
Bet you used a cheat programme.
no, just skill.
Natural poker skills take a backseat when playing online to knowing little nuances on pot odds and betting patterns of your opponents. At least thats what i found out.
We have poker games sometimes. Cheap buy ins but enough ppl playing that when you win you win a good amount. And yes, texas hold 'em.
:01:
I won $1,000 in one of the Bodog free rolls. (online) I used to play in the local
club tournaments. (average of 400 people) I have 5 first place and 3 second
place wins. (In the last three years) I also do pretty decent in home games.
I've slowed down in the last year. (time)
We should have an FST tournament.

^^^ Them free rolls are extremely hard to win due to the sheer number of people that join. I used to play at pokerroom.com and the largest free roll they give out is $75  and almost 2000 people joining.
Yes we definitely should have a tourney here. Maybe play money first in the arcade section if thats even possible.
Yes, the free rolls are a bitch. (half the tournament goes all in...the first hand) There was 3,423 players in the one, that I won. (I'm proud of that victory.) To win tournaments that large...you have to hit a lucky streak
or two.
I was on fire that night. :01:
I'm going to set up a tournament on one of the poker sites. On many of
the sites you can set up a private invite only room. (play for free)
I'll post details, such as the date and time. I would like to give everyone a couple of weeks notice, at least.
We'll all have to dl the same poker client, also.
Peace, Paul
^^^ I'm assuming real money right?
I'd like to be in either way.
I use poker stars, but in the us we cant start real money accounts anymore, but we can win real money.... its retarded. But when we play at the house, yeah ofc real money.
