Its possible, even if its one file, to stop it at a certain % and just seed it. I use to do it, but i kind of forgot how since i just DL stuff i actually need now.
Maybe someone else can enlighten us both on how you DL a certain % of 1 file and seed back the rest..
The only method I can think of is to restrict the download speed to 1 kB/s and uncap the upload speed.

maybe i will see about getting to pu in oink now since i see in the app sections there are several leechers, the acc has just been there for several wks but i just got a new acc somewhere else so i have to get enough uploaded for pu stasus there first but i wil get to oink eventually, well i hope so
if u use utorrent just start downloading the torrent normally and after you've downloaded few mb left click on the file and in the "files" tab right click and choose "don't download" it will finish pieces that have already been started but then it will only seed.Quote:

yeh the file was great at the beginning, top seeders have 100GB of upload on it, and yeah hungdob's way of partial seeding one file is the right way
