How's the not smoking in enclosed public places going.
Or will you really find out when you first go pubbing it up.
I haven't been out to a pub yet but I did notice this sunday lunchtime that there was a marked absence of people out having lunch in the pubs near where I live. At work I have to walk away from the outside of the building to off the property into the street to smoke so I'm off private land. I think this looks far worse than smoking just outside the door where the public can't see.
I agree it looks worse. The rationale is that people should be a certain distance away from doors so that others don't have to walk thro' the smoke. I think this whole going right off the property is taking it too far.
Glasgow Council think thusly. You can't smoke in your own car in their car park. No matter how far it is from the building. I don't think that is actually covered by the legislation , however they have chosen to do it.
I think it'll be interesting to see how many more fights there might be with there being a fuckload of people standing around outside all the clubs/pubs up the street.
About 3 more I should think.
it's a great place to meet burds.
justa shame the burds are smokers really.
at least they're no crack smoking, hun faced prostitutes.
Some of them are.
Some are even from Govan.
you are a cawk.
Nah, a cawk's useful.
you are the stupidest cunt i've ever had the misfortune of meeting interwebly like.
Nah, cunts are useful.
Especially when you have a cawk :smilie4:
which you obviously have never used.
We banned smoking in our flat and since then I've smoked far less than before as I'm too lazy to move away from the computer/TV for a fag. I imagine the same will apply with the pub.
So, what are the do-gooders going to ban next in the pubs? Drinking? Fruit machines? Peanuts? Laughing?
Only if you make other people do them.
The only solution is to stop altogether.
Its crap. i went to the pub this afternoon and forgot and lit my ciggy at the table and got told off :(
I dunno about the wonder of these no public smoking laws until I go to a place where there are no such laws. I'd like to die of my own accord, not someone else's smoke.
