Weird.
I think most of us sleep at night :dabs:
I sleep for about 6 hours a night, but I find it hard to fall asleep, so I usually have to read a few chapters of a book before I do so. Eventually, I will feel my eyes drooping, and so I put the book down, and I'm asleep within 10 minutes.
I usually have the radio on low too, in sleep mode (it turns off by itself after 30 minutes), but that is not a pre-requisite.
depends where im sleeping, at home its about 4 or 5 due to gym and work which is a bit shit :dabs:
/usually fall asleep watching south park or something :/
edit: sometimes i'll make an effort to go at lyke 10pm or something, but then i'll just sit down in front of a game/bottle/television sometime before and lewse track of time :dabs:
It takes me a while to shut myself down from going all day. I usually get to bed around midnight to 0130 in the morning and rise at 0630 for work. I try not to head to bed until I am tired as hell, cause it annoys the hell out of me to be laying there "trying" to fall asleep. On the weekend I will fall asleep around the same time, but will not get out of bed till 1100 or so.
I sleep around 4 am and wake up around 11 am. I have an evening work schedule, thats why.
But yeah, it takes me a while to fall asleep too depending on how tired I am. Its specially worse when there's pressure to wake up early in the morning or a significant event is coming the next day.
i find that too. i also think about things a lot which also adds minutes to my dropping off time.Quote:

i sleep 7 hours then later i have a three hour sleep then another 3 if I'm feeling tired
I sleep 8 to 9 hrs a night and fall asleep within 10 mins or so. I learned how to crash quickly after I had kids, especially after my son, who used to wake up every 2 hours for months and months. You learn to go back to sleep ASAP or die from lack of sleep :)
I can get to sleep no matter what within 15 mins now. Before my kids, though, no way. :)
go to sleep 2-3am wake up 7am for work :\
Usually 6-8 hours of sleep a night and I can get to sleep within 15 minutes.
+beer = 10+ hours of sleep and I am usually asleep before I reach the bed.
+lots of food = maybe an additional power nap.
Interesting fact: people who sleep around 4-6 hours have longer lives than people who sleep 8-10 hours. (heard it on 'QI')
takes me 8-10 to feel happy the next morning and 30 min-1hr to fall asleep. what a waste of time
I don't sleep every night. I just sleep for a full 24 hours once a week.
Up at 5 every day to milk the chickens, most nights I 'll get 5-6 hrs sleep, just read till my eyes droop then I 'm away.
Have the odd 30 mins here and there sometimes to.
6-8 hours though i have a very annoying habit of waking up the same time everyday, about 7am, even if i go to bed at 3am. Once i'm up, i'm up. And this is especially annoying on weekends.
Not long to fall asleep, depending on if i've had time to relax after work.
Last night...no sleep! Stupid deadlines.
I love sleeping
im a fan also.
id sy 8 hours sleep I get
I have to get to bed at 2am in the morning and wake up at 10am
if I go to bed at 1am I stil wont get to sleep til 2am anyway
so 2am on the dot!
I sleep loads :(
I go to bed around 1 AM and get up around 10-11AM. I work constant backshift though so it's a bit of a pain...
I could sleep all day as long as I had a book
Ususuallly need to read for about half an hour before I fall asleep. Brilliant now that I've got a palm reader, don't need to worry about switching off the light anymore
9 hours, usually takes 1/2 hour to sleep.
yeah Im glad I work nightshifts I dont think I could get up before 10am lol
get about 4 to 5 hours of sleep
takes about 3 to 4 hours to fall asleep.........................have a major insomnia
friends consider me the psychopathic insomniac
If I fell asleep any earlier I would never have any time to post shit here :D
otherwise, why else would I be posting at 12am-3am every night
:crazy::crazy::crazy::crazy::crazy::crazy::crazy::crazy::crazy::crazy::crazy:
apparently in my sleep last night i said "let the dragons take care of it" and then something else that couldn't be interpreted, for which i received a swift kick in the shin for which rly hurt
what were the dragons 'taking care of'?
Talking in your sleep in front of someone with a psychology degree = Bad idea.
About 7 hours does me. Usually fall asleep quickly - which is odd considering the dark guilty secrets. :ermm:
SGG is remarkable - she can sleep for 14 hours
can anyone sleep constant? coz i find myself waking up various times during the night. i cannot sleep all the way through.
i usually sleep early, around 9-10Pm to 6:30 and since i go to half sleep on my couch while watching TV it doesn't take me 2 sec to sleep.
for some weired reason on my day offs i wake up even earlier and these day to watch Argentines(Cupa) match i wake up at 4:45Am.
8.5-10hours during the week. And I'm still usually always tired.
Weekends change. If i'm in for the night I will usually fall asleep wayyy too early (im tired because im tired all week, because of my job) so I end up getting like 12 hours of sleep. Other nights when i'm out i'll usually end up getting like 5-6hours which pisses me off 'cause i'll be so tired throughout the day :frusty:
Maybe part of the reason I'm always so tired is that i wake up every hour for a few minutes throughout the night...never get a good night's rest?
Also I almost always fall asleep the the tv. i watch until i feel tired then i roll over to try and fall asleep. sometimes it could be hours or sometimes minutes.
Physiologically she'll need to. Recent studies have shown stuff about teens' sleep hormones being way out of kilter, which means they are tired later and so need more sleep in the day than adults do. Of course we put it down to lazy teen syndrome but it causes a real problem in schools with kids always being tired because they cant sleep at a reasonable time and still have to get up for school or college. When her melatonin levels settle down later on she'll be tucked up in her jammies with a cup of cocoa by nine thirty. You mark my words.
