i have big hds. 1 tb akkll togerher,much hds.
I have close to that.. 960 to be exact.. and I'm needing more.
I'm trying to figure out how I should expand it. I also want to setup raid in case one of the hdd's fails.. cause I definitely don't want to lose any of it.
1.4TB plus some unused space on operating system partitions ... including my fileserver that works as both backup and storage. The only RAID I run is a 160GB Raid-0 on my fileserver for important data. Anything else could be wiped out for all I care - there's always the possibility to download it again or copy it from a friend. And yeah, I don't have any kind of other backups (CD, DVD), so those 1.4TB are always 3/4 filled. 90% of the stuff I download is deleted again and sometimes I archive it in 720p/1080i highdef quality if available.
320GB at the moment, but fixing to add a Seagate 500GB for my music collection and file sharing purposes.
I have 240 built into my laptop and an external 120 gig. Its enough room, I just have to delete movies once i watch them.
Desktop:
2x160gb + 250gb external
Laptop:
2x160gb
Total of 890gb
I do NOT keep all I download unless it's music. I have a ton of HDD space amongst my four computers but a lot of it is used for backups. If I download a movie, when I watch it, it's deleted.
PC: 120 GB + 500 GB
Laptop: 2x 80 GB
160 PC, 250 external, I get rid of most of the movies/shows after I watch them, I keep meh music.
only 60GB HDD i have.. so i can't download what i want.. now free space in my HDD is about 2GB or less.. so i think i should by new HDD..
500gb here .. :D
1.7tb Here ;)
I have 100gb on two hdds. usually, I delete everything I download once I finish watching it, (and once I get a satisfying ratio) but sometimes I burn it and keep it
edit: 100th post, good for me...
1 TB total. Though I dont know why as its not nearly full........
i ve had 240 gb on 2 Hdds and i ve just bought another 250 gb one. :naughty:
feeling happy..
2 Tb :p
i have a 250 gb h/d x2 plus 2 external h/drives total 1tb
Just over 1TB total.
And it's not that hard to do. HDD prices have almost halved in the past 2 years
really fuck...everybody here have goods HD :w00t::w00t: but i have 1 HD (8Gb) :blink::frusty:
I've filled a 320GB external HD from 3 years downloads. When I got a new PC I lost everything that was saved onto it from my old PC, so that's about 40gb lost and I've filled almost 60GB of this computers 80GB space. I'm looking into buying another HD, possibly a 500GB. Need to find the money first though. It's mainly TV seasons, episodes, movies and music.
250 intern. but i m going to buy an extern HDD like 300-400 GB!
I have a 250 gig HD, it's enough for me. (until 1 month ago I had only a 30 gig HD). I burn only the good movies on DVDs, the rest I delete after I watched them.
Lets see...
'server' computer has 1.71TB, plus this computer has 530GB, so 2.24TB.
The 1.71TB is only available to music, nothing else gets stored on it.
an embarassing 80Gb... :P
i also have an embarising 80Gb but dont feel so emberassed because others share my problem :D
I Had 500G(2x250G) but my brother broke one of the hd....
My HD Is 99% Full--->98% is Music...
I just bought a 500GB external drive because all my hdd's are close to being full. I have about 140GB over 3 drives that shall be moved to this new drive soon.
4x 320GB in RAID 5 = 960
2x 74 in RAID 0 = 150
1x 300
1x 250
1x 120
1x 80
Total = 2 TB
Used = 1.8 TB
When I set up the RAID 5 array, I really thought it would last me forever :rolleyes:
...left 6GB...
-bd :dabs:
320 gb on my Desktop...
80 Laptop and 500 external
2X 500GB internal HDD
1X 500GB External HDD
1.5 TB total and thinking of picking up another external drive
1.05 Terrabytes. Need more :(
