Keep in mind that we can adapt the color around the logo so that it looks better .. we don't have to keep the one there is atm ;).

i think this poll need to be in 2 stages... :unsure:

There so many choices.. i think we must look for a top3 (or five)
then make a final poll.... just a thought! B)

i agree with adthomp on this one. i just couldnt pick any of the ones with green in them. reminds too much of the original kazaa. :rolleyes:

It was said earlier that each contender would choose only one of their own work. That's how I thought this contest was going to go. That way it would make it 8 choices only. I had made many to show people the evolution and development process. Now there are too many chioces.

If I would choose one it would be this one: somebody1234.5

That is the one I made that was based on peoples opinions and suggestions from the first thread about this subject.

i know how you feel Somebody1234, the poll just kinda sprung itself on me too.
i hadn't really been able to refine my choices well, as i had great difficulty illiciting much feedback from other members, [i didn't invisage entering 15 times]

but hey on this wakky spotaneous board, what are ya going to do? :rolleyes:

i took me a couple of hours after seeing the poll was up to choose which of my images to vote for. i think the powers that be are going to hold a second round poll aswell [but it would have been ace to have been able to narrow the field before the ballot, que sera sera]

what is considered a representative sample of votes from the 28,144 registered members? will the poll be open for ?? amount of time? or will it go until ?? votes are cast? :unsure:

The ones with my name on them were only modifications to Somebody's submissions and were meant to be suggestions on how he could alter his.

I never intended them to be actual sumissions themselves. :rolleyes:

Well based on my preferences of a logo being simple yet effective, being a design which is a bold idea from the old logo, and being unique to any other contributer's logos...

My vote is for Motionmaster 1.

To all who have voted for mine so far - Thanks for the votes; you seriously do not know how it feels to contribute to something like this and for it to be voted for as a good replacement for the board. :D

For anyone who hasn't voted yet, vote for me ;) Only kidding - Vote for which logo you feel is the most suitable as the new logo, regardless of who created it. And vote for the general design - As far as I can tell, most of the logos are in vector format so any changes can be made. I know that my logos have had some problems with the background after looking at Echinda's site - Personally, I can change that. But I'm guessing whoever gets their picked can do fine-tuning to theirs as well. So please, do not base judgements on problems like that but based on the design of the logo instead.

VB - I agree with getting out dead weight, but let's see what happens. Personally, I'd suggest that after a couple of days, the logo of each contributor with the most votes is forwarded to a final round, where it's literally a case of voting for the best ideas of each contributor instead of spreading the votes thin as what I think is being done here. But that's just my opinion :unsure:

I didn't think many people would pick motionmaster1, so I choose motionmaster2 :( but I prefer motionmaster1

Edit- before just picking the 'most popular' maybe you should put it down to the five most popular or something cause I got to say I really don't like some of them designs.
