I saw the same low quality scan yesterday in F***.
I seen copies of HP on sites over a week and a half ago.
The version you're talking about was captured almost two days ago. I first saw it about a day and a half ago, before it popped up on rapidshare, and then it later appeared on thepiratebay.

First it appeared on the site that doesn't exist, then it appeared on the site who's first two rules are not to talk about it.
Then it was on demonoid and then thepiratebay.
And yes, there is actually a group of people out there working on writing it up. Last I looked, (about two days ago), chapters one and two were finished. Some guy upped a photoshopped version where he messed with contrast and etc to make it readable.
Those people need to get a life :frusty:
