hdbits vs bit hdtv vs x264
which do you like the best and why?
Nice question...maybe
1. BitHDTV
2. HDBits
3. x264
HDBits
BitHDTV
X264
1. HDBits
2. BiT-HDTV
3. x264
I believe there already exists a topic that contains user ratings of highdef trackers. A brief recap of my expressed opinion there: HDBits is more active a tracker than the others and also offers by far more non-scene stuff that in most cases is of a better quality video than scene releases. Therefore, the decision to rate is easy.

Are there other HD sites? I haven't heard of any others.

and some more
1. HDBits
2. x264
3. Bit HDTV
You cant really compare them as x264 is not primarily a HD site. Of 1200 torrents only 150 are HD... I prefer x264 since it contains excellently encoded movies from some very talented people.
The most notable alternatives in my opinion are:
SceneHD: a scene only highdef tracker with a very relaxed ratio system (only 50% of the download counts on ALL torrents plus your ratio requirement is 0.5 - this amounts to an effective ratio of 0.25)
HD-bits.ro: a smaller tracker than HDBits and BiT-HDTV but you'll find both scene and non-scene releases here. Easy to keep a ratio through bonus points.
HDSource: a german tracker that lists some english stuff but is my first choice for german audio tracks for both movies and tv.
HDbits for sure!
I just joined Bit-HDTV (Thanks desiking) and I like the bonus system. Right away I could earn 3 bonus pts voting in a poll! Nice selection of torrents also. SceneHD has open signups, but their torrent section is way too low :(
hdbits is great, they have freeleech on some torrents.
ESIR releases first in hdbits
