Can anyone tell why?

Have you tried in the irc?
Internet Relay Chat? How can I talk to them using that? Or am I missing something here?

I was really confused and frustrated coz i'd spent 15 mins reading the rules and faq to confirm the 5 gb ratio-less period...
This really suck, it's good that I got 600 MBs down alteast - still I cant bear missing out...
Did you use a proxy?
Did you have a previous account there?

once you are banned .. there is no way of getting that account .. and they have a useless irc help channel ..
try to get a new account ... and write down that banned ip somewhere .. so that you wont accidently login to that banned ip with your new account !

Actually, the Oink mods are pretty helpful if you explain your problem correctly and if you're not at fault. :)
I talked to them, and my account has been restored coz they understand that it was not my fault. So I'm back on Oink as long as I dont break any rules.
For all the innocent and banned members here, I suggest you explain your situation properly and have a little patience, you're likely to get restored if you didnt do anything illegal.

I was just talking about my personal experience. I dont know what happened to the other guys, but they were quite cooperative with me and I can only be thankful for that.
