fresh download, download acclerator...........
Search download.com
Get Download Manager and expect to find a lot of spyware the next time you run your spyware scanner (that's if you have one in the first place) <_< - I'm not s***ing. If you actually search the site behind download.com, cnet.com, you can find a software review which actually highlights this.
I asked this a few weeks back, and I was recommended FlashGet and found their claims justified :D The file should be available on KL, but details of it can be found at http://www.amazesoft.com/
BTW Like I said, I asked this a few weeks back - Next time, search first then ask :P
My personal preference is for Metaproducts' download Express, which is powerful and free :)

nearly all ftp clients also have the option to resume downloads or uploads where they left off if you look through the options.
i know filezilla and bulletproof have these options.

I followed Lamseys recommendation, having read a previous thread of his, and am very happy with Download Express. Definetely the best i've tried, no ad/spyware and does the job grand.Quote:

It's amazing that people will buy crap like DAP when there are better alternatives like Download Express available for free.
its like sumone buying KaZaA Gold When They can get a better alternative free
