I use the 2.504 version of Azureus (since I never liked vuze) but today my client informed whether I wanted to upgrade to the 3.020version without the vuze content layer.
Is this version allowed on all trackers?
Do you think it would be best to stick with the old one or not? :ermm:
(*) I know that utorrent would be probably a better option but I am bored to move to another client with all the torrents I am seeding...
Advisable to stick to 2.5.0.4 for now.
i use utorrent but i noticed that bitmetv does have the newest version on Azureus banned at the moment and is recommending users not to upgrade.
Yeah, don't update yet, always wait a few days when a new version comes out. Maybe there are some bugs in it (like it was in utorrent 1.7).
i use 3.0.1.6 with vuze layer.........no problems faced so far :)

Don't upgrade until advised to do so by tracker staff. This version doesn't even has a changelog!

Azureus sucks, I use Utorrent, Very small app with all features of Azureus without java crap and hangups. Utorrent I can download 5 at once without any problems and max out on up/download speed.
i certainly wouldnt downgrade to utorrent and i would stick with the current version of azureus until private trackers approve it.
azureus pisses on utorrent from a very great height.

My favorite feature of Azureus is that extra 30% cpu usage. It keeps my tower nice and warm :D

Nope, won't update here either. Same with uTorrent - I'll stick to 1.6

the new version is banned on the bitmeTV tracker patrida.
