well if your talking a thread then just the same way you did here. If you want a whole section similar to the music or bt sections than that's a lot tougher. If that's the case make a post in the everything related to the board section and see what the mods think.

I think the point is, if you want there to be more graphic based stuff and you are really into it get a load of threads started. However you will need to do it in the right place because that's where people who want to do that sort of thing will be.
Start the threads, see who is interested. Post here and elsewhere that you are doing it and link to the threads. If you try to actually do it here it will just get spammed.
If you want to link to threads just go to them, copy the details from the address bar into a new thread, who knows people might be interested. Gotta be worth a try.

i always thought the graphics part of the internet, programming and graphics was just to ask for a quick website banner or other web graphic; i think it would be nice to have an entire discussion to post print or even branding graphics, logos, wallpapers, avatars, signatures, et cetera
Why not, the forum should always be evolving to what people want.
If people have ideas for threads, or suggestions for the forum they should start them or make suggestions.
To be honest it would be good to see some new, positive stuff starting.
I agree. It could be fun.
If some threads get started, and they become popular, then I can see a new sub-section branching off that is dedicated to graphics in the future, but it makes no sense to set up a new section until we can see how popular it is going to be.

That's where the forum went wrong, not starting that.
Point is lads, use the section that is already there, advertise it elsewhere on the forum if you want it to get popular, encourage others to join in. People like competitions and things. I'm sure if it's popular enough the team will be willing to discuss setting up a section for it.
In fact, here's an idea, get your mates who you know are interested in that sort of thing to register and join in the threads. The forum is really only the people who post in it and their enthusiasm. Who knows, you might end up moderating your own part of the board.
