Why would they unban you if they already banned you?
Look I made a thread on this before, but let me say I got banned for no reason, all I was doing is seeding, and I've long given up on the irc and staff. So it's time to take justice into my own hands.
Your PC has to be connected to your cable/dsl modem...
Start -> Run -> cmd -> ipconfig /release -> ipconfig /renew
If I get what your saying, it was your IP they banned, not your account. You can use a proxy server, you just need to use the same proxy IP in your client
If you have a static ip that won't work

One of the most common questions and complaints I get about cable broadband is that your IP address will not change. You were banned from your favorite gaming server server, a hacker keeps DoSing your system, or you just got +b'd for being a prick in IRC.
Whatever the reason (lets hope its the 2nd one), you might want to know that it is possible to change your IP. It is a bit trickier than just resetting your router or computer with DSL, but possible nonetheless.
First, lets learn a little bit about DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol). Basically, what your router uses that assigns IP addresses automatically. It can also do other things, but right now we are concentrating on IP assignment. Your ISP has the same thing, only on a much wider scale.
The way DHCP assigns IPs, is it looks at the range of IPs it can assign, and then it looks at your MAC (Media Access Controller) address. The MAC address is also known as the physical address. It is basically how different equipment knows it is different from other equipment similar. DHCP looks at the MAC address and says, "Hmm...this router/computer is unique, I will assign it a unique IP." This IP is specific to that MAC address. If you changed your MAC address, your DHCP would change your IP, but if you set it back to what it was, your IP would go back to the original.
So, you may have figured out that to change your IP, you need to change your MAC address. Keep in mind, ISPs with static IP addresses don't exactly love you changing your IP. If you really don't want to take the small risk, don't do it.
So how do you change your MAC address? It is rather simple, actually. First, here is what you need to change.
A MAC address is made up of six octets (xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx). The octets of a MAC address each contain a hexidecimal number, so the available characters to use are (0-9) and (A-F). The first three octets are the Organizational Unique Identifier (OUI). This is basicically what the manufacturer uses to identify who made the product. You can use this to look up the first three octets and see who made the product. The last three octets are completely up to the manufacturer to assign.
A trick your ISP may use, is it make sure the first 3 octets are real, and available to use with the service. So do not change those. What you want to change is something in the last 3 octets.
Basically, go into your router configuration and change something about the last 3 octets. If your MAC address is 00:A0:40:3F:00:B4, you might want to make it 00:A0:40:3F:01:B4 . If you don't have a router, changing or spoofing the MAC address of your computer is also possible. You may be able to just change it, by going into your network adapter's properties in the device manager, and clicking the advanced tab. It could be under Network Address, MAC Address, Ethernet Address, etc. If there is no option here to change it, fear not, you can still spoof it with SMAC.
Now, you need to just simply reset your modem for this to take effect. If you find it does not work, change another digit of your MAC address. Your ISP will obviously not like it if two systems on its network have the same MAC address, thus having the same IP. So there is a very small chance you might have just changed your MAC address to someone elses. If it still doesn't work, your ISP may have put protective measures on your equipment to make sure the original MAC address would be the only one that can work on it. In this case, you should call your ISP and inform them that you have gotten a "new" router, and give them the MAC address so they can add it into the system.
Presto.
huh, you guys are all saying sort of different things.
wait fstrulz, will that do anything beside change my ip? That won't change any main settings right?
The whole ipconfig /release /renew will only work with some ISP's. As the guy after me said (if you have a static IP with your ISP it won't work)
Try the proxy thing, just get a specific IP like you can find here
http://www.publicproxyservers.com/page1.html
And then use the same IP in uTorrent or whatever client you use
easier just to change your ip even if it is static than to route through a proxy... it isn't terribly hard to do, just follow the guide i posted
so, i have a router and,
1. how do I check if it is a static ip
2. if it is/not what do I do afterwards?
If what I previously posted doesn't work,
then there's a possibility that you have a static IP.
Have you tried it yet? It only takes 30 seconds to do it.
why would I try it now, Its not like a can get another Oink invite right away lol. And how would I check if it worked?
to check if you have a static ip or not in xp go Control Panel.>Network Connections>You may have several network connections in this window. I want you to right click on the one you use to connect to the internet. Then click properties.>then properties again> Click Internet Protocol(TCP/IP) and then the Properties button>If there is a dot in Obtain an IP address automatically then you do NOT have static ip and you should follow fstrulz directions
Okay theres isn't a dot, so I don't have a static IP, but on a side not, isn't a static IP good, like for seeding and uploading more on trackers such as Oink, I like commas :)
Ok well if you don't have a static ip your port cannot be forwarded and therefore trackers will say you are non-connectable, if you want to become connectable make a static ip and forward a port for you torrent client, you might see a increase in speed and you might not... go here http://portforward.com/english/route...outerindex.htm select your routers make and model and then select utorrent from the programs list
soooo wait you can uncap your modem, but you can't change your ip??:sly:
shhhhhhhhhhh, If I make one wrong move in changing my ip my ISP will see a huge transition in bandiwith, unlike some normal customer changing his IP to some other one, because my modem is "special"
btw when Oink disables accounts, they ban by ISP's also, right?
re-read my post before this one
so after port forwarding and making a static ip, then chaging my static ip, I would be able to make a new acc by invite again on Oink with on the same computer?
zaa730, maybe you shouldn't even try. sonmething tells me that you're going to be caught.
My only question to zaa730 is what is up with your sig. Why give a fake speedtest? Is that uber? I lived in KY for a few years not far from Owensboro. And while their official website says they don't service owensboro. The best package I could get from them was a 10/1 package, but if you can get those speeds for cable internet and not in jail. I guess I applaud you.
and regardless of uncapping your mdoem "special modem" the nodes are not set up to handle speeds which you are touting.
I can flash some code and block an incoming snmp port with tools someone else wrote.. can I act secretive, too?
Oink ban with no recourse for new invite/account, speed"tests" with a (shhhhhh!) modem with it's cap popped.. Flatline knowledge of basic net-ology... I gotta chuckle at the majority of FST threads by the unmistakably uber.
Thank you, you've brightened my afternoon. :)
you can change your ip address easily by using your routers "clone mac address" feature, then release and renew ip from the router.
after that is done, clear all cookies from your browser and get an invite.
boom. new account.
Where do you guys get this? Is not that simple. At least not with my ISP. Maybe if it was ADSL.Quote:
Start -> Run -> cmd -> ipconfig /release -> ipconfig /renew
I can even unplug my router and modem for 8 hrs and my IP doesn't change. I use the clone mac address in my router and that works fine. I only had to change my IP maybe 3 times in 8 years but that works. I think normally my ISP changes my IP about once every 6-8 months.
so, if I have a static IP, all I need to do is clone mac address by using routers clone mac address feature? and make a new acc on oink agian?
Jesus zaa730. You have officially failed at torrenting. You have been banned by Oink, Bitme, Bitmetv and probably a slew of others that you arent complaining about at the present moment. Just stop trying already. You are obviously doing something that is pissing everyone off, so just stop already. Go back to Kazaa and download mp3s.
u need to change your isp! (one that has dynamic ip's)
Lol, I really think the guy is doing something wrong... emmm caught in 3 well-known trackers for catching cheaters... that summed with the guy that stated tha u were faking ur speedtest tells me something. grrr
