Do I need ScT? honestly...[those who have F*N & ScT only; or if ur POST IS IMPORTANT]

Hi guys, bros.:)

Here I am very confused... well, maybe you may have guessed... I am being curious about ScT, being curious about what's in there.. and why everyone like it..

I'm on F*N, so I am asking those who have F*N and S*T
.. and also those who can contribute details and infos..

It is the case.. although I have it, I am being curious about S*T.. What can I find there?, Is it worth it being invited? What's your opinion? Should I need ScT? Do I need ScT?

I do not want F*N and S*T send nuclear bombs on each other's server - So please avoid fighting against that 2 sites, because YOU can always say things in a GOOD manner that the other party will NOT be offended..

Simply put NO you don't. As a matter fact now that FTN removed ratios you don't really need any other general 0-day tracker. Fast Pretimes + Good Speed + No Ratio what else do you want? On ScT you'll find everything you do on FTN, just later :)

TBH all you need is just one 0day tracker not 10+ 0day trackers.why ? becoz everybody has the same 0day content . maybe TL alone can satisy your torrenting needs..

and sct is nothing special when it comes to 0day torrents .. but FTN is really special .. i mean now they dont even have a ratio system , nice community , great staff, secure .. no p2l shit .. i really thought sct was great before i got an invite to FTN.. but i was wrong .. FTN is the best .. !

SCT is better than FTN. I mean I prefer SCT to FTN. More leechers, faster speeds, amazin' packs. More helpful Staff. FTN's decision of removin' ratios (fot the public, b/c Staff is still aware) is very doubtful. Can go either way. A banger or a bummer.

its not worth you getting an invite, if you have ftn. and i would say its not worth asking for ftn, if you have sct.

Content: both have pretty much the same (excluding packs)
pre times: both are quick. sometimes ftn wins, some times sct wins but i'm not bothered about pre times.
staff: both have good guys, and both have moody ones (ze and zy) :P
community: both good

i personally use ftn more than sct

I like them both but F*N doesnt p2l so they win from that point and the community is friendly.

I have'em both, and I'm happy that way.

FTN have lots of packs, great speeds, the best pretimes, and really friendly staff.

ScT however, consists of aprox 2.2x more members, and therefore more leechers, which results in really great speeds of new things.

Another thing about ScT, is their packs, and how long they are seeded. FTN has lots and lots of -great- packs as well, but with fewer members, they do not have that much seeders on their packs, but good enuf.

I would say that you should stick with FTN, you do not -need- ScT :)

I liked them both really, but now after i joined FTN, i prefer it much more on SCT, but they still a really good trackers +1 for FTN.

No you don't need ScT. Shit Community IMO, only good for gigabit line users or 100/100 mb users.

You have a slow connetion, so stick to TL, RevTT, maybe FTN :) FTN great community, good speeds, fair to all users ( No ratios just 36 hours seeding time )

FTN has a wonderful community best so far in my opinion :)

FTN is for adults, ScT is for kiddies who think they have big e-penis's, and that's not just the forums!

Have both sites and if I have to choose to keep one of them I would keep FTN ;)

ScT is great, I mean I like it, it has everything when it comes to torrents - speeds, content .. everything. But when you are a community-kind-of-guy, then I doubt you'll find your contact with others, or at least you won't if you are even a little bit mature. Everything tends to end up with midgetpron or something like that. I mean, I personally like strange humour, jokes, but everything has its limits. ;| A great tracker though, probably the best or at least one of the best, when it comes to pleasuring all your series, movie needs. I'm thankful.

Well think about it....now that FTN no longer has a ratio, it's all about your seeding capabilities

SCT is well known for being extremely hard to seed, and now FTN hardly even says you have to :O to it's up to you...

That's the reason I use FTN (and got rid of SCT :P)

Most of the things you can find "even" on TL . Which isn't that hard to get nor to seed .
Now "want" is something much different.

well, as the post above says, you dont actually need either one. it's not like oink or karagarga, where you find tons of exclusive content - even the packs, which is the only main differentiation in content between the two trackers, could easily be compiled yourself if you wanted to. the mods are a lot fairer and less corrupt at ftn though, which is why i use it more than sct - they both have top notch speeds and pre's, especially now that ftn has removed ratio, resulting in more leechers (a good thing!) and bigger swarms.

I tried to resolve an issue with not junior staff of ScT, the reply I got was, "look dude, fuck off", I had to persist in PMing very senior staff until it was resolved, they are not interested in users unless you speaka da lingo on de irc chan man, dude, whatever, and then I got kicked for asking questions, fukkin egocentric losers.

That's because you have lined their pockets, get with the programme, "dude".

I still have the PM, shocking, truly shocking behaviour from staff.

Feeling & djGrrr I would class as Very Senior Staff, both of whom are at least helpful and polite, something they would do well to instill into other staff members.

SCT much better in my opinion (:

well,if you have FTN then you won't be needing to get into SCT ,as for their packs ,well some foreign trackers as LM and Czone get the sct packs on their tracker and they are much easier to obtain ,as for the Community ,well the best one IMO is FSC

If you don't have neither of them then stick to TL,Revtt and SCC and you will mainly get everything

Well if u hv got FTN.... then thr is no need for you to get anything else apart frm Oink or e music .... hang out in their irc its a really nice place as it turns out... and nothing beats FTN in their content with awesome packs, fast releases and the new NO ratio thing.

well truth is like someone said you dont need any if youve got a good 0day site like TL, the rest like packs and such eventually get spread around.

now onto the sct vs ftn: i dont have ftn so i cant comment on its content or speeds but im happy with sct greats speeds and pres and nice packs but do you need sct if youve got ftn? going back to my first statement no you dont

now with that out of the way i personally would love to have both lol but thats jsut me

i asked myself the same question. just the other way around. but after reading all the great stuff people write about ftn in this and other threads, i came to the conclusion: i do need ftn if i have sct :)

i got both and i use them pretty equally

for sure, when i want to be sure to get something at max speed i get it from sct

but ftn generally has better pretimes and i enjoy the community

The reality is presently FTN is the only 0-day tracker needed. I have both FTN and SCT and both have been great but FTN +3 for me.

EDIT: going slightly off-topic, can someone pm me what FSC stands for, they seem like a highly respected tracker.

if u have a very high speed net then u need SCT becoz nothing can catch up the SCT speed but now that FTN removed ratios u really dont have to bother abt the seeding part.

not bother :noes: ..... u still hv to seed the torrent to 1:1 or for 36 hours which is quite easy to do

Hi, registered because there is a thread here that concerns ftn's sysop..
Anyway, ScT is really greedy and pockets donations so I would not get anything from them. Plus how can anyone beat freeleech?

But i can say if u have TL/Revtt...U prolly have more than enough ;)

Whats so troubling if u get a data some minutes or some hours late...

like Oink,Bitme,BitmeTV,HDBits are diff ;)

But ScT/FTN/TL/Revtt are all same atleast in contents..

Speeds well i max out my speed on torrents from any of above..

You need them both. FTN is a very good community , it has good pre-times, speed etc.
But ScT has more peers and better speeds. I also think that ScT's pre-times are faster.
And IMO , you need them both.

ive got both & TL, i'd stick with FTN imho, screw ScT, not as much content but more fun ppl on the irc & forums
