However my free time is stretched to the limit, and my chances of acceptance + scholarships will definitely suffer if I had this to worry about as well.

So I've been trying to exercise self-control for the past week and did nothing, but it's getting harder and harder and she hasn't given up yet. So this dream girl is just tantalizing me and I'm going completely crazy.

When I was 17 I asked a lad I knew out, and after giving me mixed signals for a while he told me he had too much work to do and had to concentrate on it. About 5 years later we met up through Friends Reunited. He got drunk and confessed that he really just didn't have the confidence to take me up on it and the work was an excuse.
