I just watched Crossroads for some unknown reason *to see britney in underwear most probally* :lol: ...But yeah it got my mind wondering what you reckon...what is the worst cover song you have heard??

Mine is out of Crossroads and yes it is

Britney Spears cover of I Love Rock N Roll originally performed by Joan Jett...

Oh and i found a quote relating to this topic that you might find funny...

There are several that really get under my skin:

Madonna doing "American Pie"

Some country singer lady singing fucking Janis Joplin "Piece Of My Heart"

Metallica w/Bob Seger&#39;s "Turn The Page"

Some soul-sounding group did The Doors, I think it was "Light My Fire"...fuckin horrible.


The Janis Joplin one I find to be the most offensive. It just makes me ill.

i luv avril but gotta say he cover version of Knockin On Heavens Door sucked

two girls in Britain once done a cover of "Schools out for summer" it was in the top 20 charts too&#33; I&#39;ve forgotten their name, but it was the most awful cover of a song I&#39;ve ever heard. PLEASE can someone remind me of thier names, the inability to recall such is driving me crazy.

That whole movie crossroads is a remake itself, im just tired of all these "punk covers" getting renamed me first and the gimme gimmes and there not&#33;

Limp Bizkit is one of the worst groups that I have ever heard. I hate the whole damn genre of rockrap, either its rock or its rap you cant have both.

Yup, add that "nu-metal" cover of Smooth Criminal to that too.
