Not yet... But it's been on beta and RC for the past couple of months, so this final release should be stable.

So whats the biggest incentive to upgrade then? I'm perfectly comfy with 7.04 right now.

tried live cd
not much interesting, mostly looks like windows, more like windows 2000
to my understanding you must have some addon's to get those effects in the youtube video, cuz all ive seen from live cd is old windows 2000 but orange edition.

They are addons but they are piss easy to install, well if you have a nvidia card. If you have an ati card you can use xgl which is poor or wait for decent drivers which should be out by the end of the month hopefully.

Just installed Xubuntu in my Pentium M 1.2GHz 512MB laptop... Installation only took around 15 mins... It's f'n lightweight and my laptop boots up in less than 30 seconds and shuts down in less than 5 seconds. :D

AIGLX for ATI drivers has been finally released today. :D

I know, its not on the official site yet though.
