is there a better programm than utorrent?

hey i use utorrent since i started torrent to dl i know that there are also other programms is there a different or wich of them is better and why?

Azureus is a great client too.

Azureus(2.5) is the best if you ignore the use of resoures.
But I use µTorrent my self ;)

Deluge is the best, if you're @ linux. :P

Azureus has much more advanced options than utorrent...i like them both but i see myself use azureus a lot more. If u have a lot of ram then go for azureus...otherwise utorrent is great for most people.

no, utorrent is not the best. its very good, and may be the best for your personal needs, but what determines whether a client is best depends on your situation and requirements.

on a higher spec machine and where someone wants all the bells and whistles, azureus pisses on utorrent from a very great height. if youre on linux, there are other options which you may prefer (rtorrent, deluge to name a couple).

personally, i like utorrent a lot and use it, but ive also used azureus extensively and plan to run rtorrent on my new seedbox.

whats best depends on your needs.

I prefer utorrent over azureus because there is something super sexy about a feature-filled application that is less than 200KB

I find that all of the advanced options I need are in utorrent, having used Azureus for many months prior to utorrent.

Also, I'm somewhat impatient with slow-loading apps. Azureus was too slow loading without any torrents and is beat by utorrent with well over 100 active torrents.

Well, that's my 2 cents.

IMO μtorrent because:

torrents=seeding
seeding=always on client
always on client=light client
light client=μtorrent

quod erat demonstrandum :P

After using Utorrent for a month and learn some new features.. I can say Wow no one can beat this client.....:)

I may say if you want other program.. you need to be forced on utorrent or azureus because these two are the most accepted clients.. just use accepted version, not every update if you want to be safe..

utorrent.. it's the best as for now, because it is light, and almost all sites accept it, and strict sites recommend it.. just use 1.6.1 if you want to be safe..

I've had plenty of experience with both uTorrent and Azureus. Both are great clients. The only reason I wouldn't use Azureus is because I'd be conserving resources. Now if I didn't care then it would be top notch.

IMO the answer has been said over and over Azureus is a very good client way more options than Utorrent but it will be way more system intensive. Utorrent has basically everything you need but no where near the resources used. When I first started I used azureus and when I would try to convert a movie my system would bog down granted that was on my old box with only 1 gig ram :( now I have my new machine built and I have 4gb ddrII so it would prob work way better now....well damnit now im off to DL Azureus like I have nothing better to do.

utorrent is the best

Azureus is more poweful than utorrent, but because it is based on Java and because of the numerous features, it consumes a lot more resources than utorrent.

Both are accepted at most private trackers, and are among the very few accepted, so the choice is actually pretty narrow.

For my current set up... yes its the best. If I have more resources I will use azureus.

In my opinion utorrent is the best solution because it use less resources than any other torrent program.

if you dont want to use utorrent you should use azureus.

I've never used Azureus, and don't plan to. uTorrent works perfectly for what I ask it to do.
