You can also go to McAfee.com
If you want a free anti virus program go to www.grisoft.com
I may add the .exe file to my shared folder.
It caught a virus from a file I downloaded a moment ago... :(
software is riddled with viruses on kazaa
Why do people continue to just search and get exe files with KaZaa is beyond me. If its not a verified exe, don't get it on KaZaa.
I have looked up programs to find that the one with the most sources is usually some version that is not even out and a worm, some of these files have over a 1000 sources in search, while the real ones may have only a 100.
Seems most people must not know how to remove the worms, don't care, are unaware, or don't use AV programs at all. For these reasons KaZaa is grosly infected with these type of files.
Though KaZaa has its benifits, exe are not one of them. I use ShareReactor verifieds with Shareaza for software, much safer, actually like 100% effective litterally, since I care about my computer, as some do not.
A BOLD statement from the LOVER of KaZaa.Quote:

As so it seems we agree HERE at least.

Usually a virus is easy to get rid of. It just pisses me off that even after you get rid of the virus your comp goes a little slower.
Your antivirus caught the virus, so what's the problem?
I have found many virus's, my virus scanner has found them and i have repaired or deleted them personally.
The problem would be if your antivirus doesn't find the virus you get.
Ok, your a genius.Quote:

AYE you WILL respect my AUTHORITY
:P
I am a dumb genious B)
You have to be smart. I use Kazaa when I want to TEST my antivirus program. I download things like 32KB EXE files that go by "McAfee Norton Antivirus 11.2" which is ridiculous since the Online version is up to 5, and the offline one is up to 7.

I'm Ready, I'm Ready.
The biggest problem comes when you're suposed to download a key-gen, or some other filer that's around 100 kb.
You're just lucky if you don't catch virus'.
Should have a system, so you could tell virus from normal programs..

I download those all the time. Have no problem :PQuote:
