25 TheFamily.bz Invites!

As the title says I am giving away 25 thefamily.bz [or TF] invites. This place is a about 2 month old General Tracker.
They are still trying to get off their feet but doing a pretty good job with getting things uploaded. Also, they welcome every type of torrent [meaning scene and non-scene] and currently have open Uploading to ALL users!!~~~:rolleyes:

Another great addition is that everyone that signs up before the site reaches 1000 users will receive 5GB's of Upload Credit and 15 Invites to invite their friends!!

On top of that there are some sweet contests like a userbar contest for 25GB of upload credit and VIP status and also a spam attack game in the forums!!!

So leave me a screenshot with 3 different ratios, a speakeasy speedtest page also showing on the screenshot- http://speakeasy.net/speedtest-and below ur screenshot i would like 2 reasons you want this place and include in there what you are going to do to help out and help make this place bigger!~~~

some staff there are from SCN and i believe agent47 is staff there too

i'm sure some of you will remember what he did when shutting down SCN :ermm:

no one associated with scn is on staff what-so-ever at this place
trust me....

I know an admin there and he said that they didnt even know about scn and had only heard about it at the time it got shutdown....and by then they already had their staff picked out...
The tracker is completely safe dude and really is climbing up the ranks

well to be frank if none of the staff is from scn then thats even worse cuz there just some lamers who stole some guys concept.

dude they didnt steal anyones concept...
they had never heard of scn before and they launched tf like 1 week before it shut down...
There is nothing alike with this place and scn
not the user classes, layout, or anything else...

just the fact that they have a type of mafia layout and specialize in everything unlike scn did..

Well Mate,You will always have that choice...But I also can assure you that there are no staff from scn there and they weren't trying to steal someones concept....

I think that they first off wanted to think of a friendly place for everyone(a family),the mobster/gangster idea came later.

I also have to say that this place looks like it has a lot of potential.They will be great in a little while once it grows.TheFamily.bz is getting better and better as each day passes!

1) the only true the(fill it in).bz sites are ThePlace.bz TheVault.bz and TheVault.bz and they are all owned by a specific group of people.
TheFamily.bz is biting their style of sites. :lol:


2) Everyone, who is anyone knows like Adela said, that the original Mafia/Mafiosa Idea was first introduced by SceneNetwork.org, which is now offline, i dont really care if they take other sites ideas, but it doesnt really show much innovation or imagination to the site. Only thats its just another tracker.

3) I was one of the first members to signup and kept my account for a while, only thing is, i decided to go on browse and to my surprise, I see FTN Category Icons as their Icons. Talk about lame ;p

IMO this is nothing special, just another tracker, signup, let it go on for a few months, then die like so many others.
But hell, i could be wrong, and it might turn out to be a great tracker, but Staff really need to rethink what they are doing, but taking all these ideas from other trackers, who have been online a hell of a lot longer and have a lot more experience

While everyone has good points here and there,this is still a fresh bittorrent tracker.If everyone worked together and attempted to make this a good tracker then everyone would be happy.I agree with you on a few things though.I think that a tracker should be original and have something exclusive and all of that but regardless of all that this is a tracker,that if everyone worked with,could be a very good tracker for everyone.And I know that everyone wants another good tracker right? I am friends with some staff there and I am giving suggestions all the time.You never know the final results but it is worth the time and effort if you want another good bittorrent tracker.Like I said before,You have the ability to choose whether to join or not but if you do join and participate and help the tracker grow,who knows what could happen!

1) That's being closed minded. Try to open up a bit. Sorry that we've got that website ending. We did not intend to "bite the style" of these two.

2) It's difficult to explain how much it irks me when people complain about this. You're not uncovering a new leaf here. We've been yelled at by multiple members about this. It's about time you all become silent. We did not sit around in an IRC channel thinking "haha, cool theme, lets take it," and I understand that you never said that we did, however, it's a bit aggrivating to hear complaints about our "lack of creativity."

TheFamily was originally intended to be specialized in Mafia movies, music, and other this-and-that. But it was a joint decision by the staff to make it general. We've tossed around the idea to make the site specialized once more, but have not been able to find a suitable innovative idea.

3) On the topic of stealing FTN's icons, I personally spent days to make special TF icons. When we let in new staff, a certain higher-up claimed that they weren't good enough, and replaced them with FTN's icons because he claimed they were cooler. The rest of the community was not involved in this decision. So, sorry to have aggrivated you, but this isn't exactly the site or the communities fault. Just one bad staff member.

It seems you don't have the background information to understand that TF is a tracker that sprung from a few devoted members to another invite trading community. We've got a large community that commend the staff for putting time and money into TF, so before we even started, we had support. Sure the beginning may be rocky because we might not have your two hundred thousand torrents, and your userbase approaching the millions, but those that care are extremely devoted, not to mention backing from a mass of people from other communities who care. We're not stealing, we never intended to take anything from anyone. (With the exception of FTN, but I made a description of my issue with that one staff member... we in no way had any agreement about this, ignore it.)

Don't condemn a small tracker while it is still getting set up. I can understand if you were writing this about a site that has been around for a long while, but what you're doing is quite simply throwing insults at an infant. If you have a problem, you could have talked to the staff.

Enjoy the rant. I'll leave this thread alone now. I've also got plenty of invites if anyone is interested.
