Burned it but haven't viewed it yet.

Much of it from what my parents tell me was filmed about 3 miles from their other home. Some tunnel scenes and whatnot.

So is it worth watching?

I like the movie..but some scene bothers me... Is it really hard to aim a gun in that time..? There are some short distances gun fighting and they not hit each other....

The ending killed it for me, Crowe could have kicked his ass tons of times, the train scene was absurdly cheesy

i really liked the fillm. thought the pace of it flowed rather well and i like crowe's character. is the original good? never heard of it 'til this came out. only 3 options in this poll...? i gave it a 10.

I agree, this was a SUPERB western movie. My man-beast and I watched it the other night, couldn't take our eyes off the screen. And that's not common when we snuggle for a movie. :naughty:

I've watched this movie in 720p last night. The movie is fantastic! There are moral issues involved in this story that will really make you think. It's a story about a rancher who dared to risk his life to provide his family, save their land, and more importantly to win back the respect from his eldest son. It's heartwarming that he won the heart of the outlaw who agreed to let himself be "captured" and transfered to a train.

What disturbs me most is what the outlaw played by Russel Crowe did to his loyal men at the end (just watch it yourself). How could he repay their loyalty that way?
And why were his gang so loyal to him? Criminals aren't loyal to fellow criminals, that's for sure.

Anyways, great movie, kept me thinking. :)

Btw, it's interesting to watch Batman (Christian Bale) vs. Gladiator (Russel Crowe) in this movie. Enjoy! :D

I feel like it was an ordinary movie but somehow I loved it
