who gives a shit useless thread
alot of work was put in. they deserve some recognition in keeping the oink spirit alive.
well congratulations on that news,but what.cd in only 3 day have more than 9.500 torrents and by end of the day they will hit 10000 im sure,so the numbers telling me all.
doubt it, it rose quickly because of the new scene torrents. Good luck getting any more than 13,000 with just 0sec music
I must say I was skeptical about STMusic, but I've downloaded a great deal of music there while waiting for more OiNK-like sites to show up.
Then again, I've downloaded a lot of music EVERYWHERE waiting for a more OiNK-like site to show up..
But really, STMusic has definitely improved lately. :yup:

yeah i've been waiting and comparing at first softmp3 vs stmusic, but softmp3 isn't growing and isn't english. Stmusic is growing about 1300 new torrents a day and about 900 new users.
I don't like softmp3 that much either even though it's in my native language, I regged at stmusic and will have a look..... we all want a new OiNK.Quote:

What you have to consider is that none of these sites will be the "new oink".
As far as stmusic is concerned I have been there since it started as a by-product of Supertorrents and as an established site it is your best bet for a long term future. Don't get dragged into the hype of some of these newer sites.
I like the way they have a separate user torrents section. Scenereleases are good for speed but for quality I'd go for user-releases anyday.

Oink wasn't so good because was the hardest tracker to seed. And stmusic have better speeds.
i love the seed bonus. At oink you could seed for a whole month and not improve your ratio, here its a bit easier. Its not alot but its decent.

I'm a member of all 3, anything I find on the others I can find at stmusic with more seeds. It has more users than both of them combined so its not surprising.

Honestly I can find the albums I want all on stmusic but the thing is oink had like 200,000 torrents. What boggles me is what the other 180,000 torrents are.

I have to agree who cares about how many torrents they have. It just makes the site a target for the future.

despite all the underestimate and bashes he gets , his improving by the moment .
and his doing it very modestly .
