I registered properly and received the confirmation email, but when I try to login, it says "login failed". I also tried to recover my password, but it states the email address is not in their database.
I assume they got nailed with open registration that the site must be having problems?
I just signed up and it worked fine.

try to enable the cookies maybe it will work
My cookies are enabled, I reset everthing to default.
As for going to their IRC, I tried that but it seems you need to be logged in to do that and I can't log in :(
It might help if they said what "Error 1" was.
since they have open sign-ups today... it makes sense that they are probally getting flooded with new accounts... as was stated previously use the irc.. i'm sure they'll get straightend out
yeah, for some reason I'm not even receiving the confirmation email. It seems to happen with some trackers and my email, i'm not sure why. It sucks though.

Yep I get the login error 1 as well.
I just hope the people having login problems do not get shut out of the site after the smoke has cleared.

FYI - they won't fix the error anymore. going to #help tells you not to ask questions and to PM the staff...when i did that the pm i got back said they were fixing them in chat (even though it said not to ask questions...wtf?) and they couldn't help anymore people.
they shut down signups so early, the least they could do is help the accounts that actually got created and confirmed in time. pretty lame.
