Only 1 & 2 r any good... The rest just made Freddy a joke.. he was evil as fuck in the first two....
I mean number 5 all that shit with the baby, they were just plain out of ideas...

OK i will give you 5 it was crap -- the dream child or some shit...
but what about 3, it was on the cusp of them all....
or rather the change from horror----> slap stick horror
which i thought was a great middle ground, (( to me the story was better, and without abondoning the basic plot))

Nightmares 1 and 2 were really the only good ones. The rest turned Freddy into a wisecracking retard. However, in Nightmare 4, I thought the Karate kid was pretty cool...He did the kick and knocked the glove off. Hell yeah
Hmmm my fav is probably number 2, especially when Freddy's tongue comes out and licks the chick's tits

i have to say the first, the second was ok, third, fourth, hated fifth, loved sixth, and new nightmare was a gem!
i have the vhs set had it for 4 years now! lol

new nightmare owned them all becuase not only does freddy become evil again, he becomes more evil then he did in 1 & 2 and with the actors using there "real personalities" it adds the ALOT more realism to it and plus freddy looks way better then he does in all previous films.

Part 1 was like the best. Part 2 was decent. Part 3 was ok. Part 4 was better than 3 I liked how the girl got all her skills from the other people combined into one. Part 5 is like when is this series gonna end? Part 6 was terrible. Part 7 sucked as it was a movie inside a movie.
As far as I'm concerned Part 1-4 are the best. 5,6,and 7 I would just avoid at all cost.
