Kicks Ass
O.K. If The Mods Think It's To Big They Can Cahnge It Right?
its more like IF the mods NOTICE they WILL remove it. Its really quite nice, but not so nice for the 56kers.
yep it is far too big and no the mods cant change it they can only remove avatars (they can change sigs however )
oh btw long live the ketchup lovers liberation front
The Avatar is nice. Kind of big though.
Is mine too big? Does anyone know what it is?
yeah, stupidguy you need to get your avatar down to a 3rd of the size, spindulik, your is fine, your allowed 100K for all images together, e.g sig and avatar
 The mods shouldn't have to...Quote:

And no, I'm not going to change it - that's your work. :D
BTW, does anyone know how to make it smaller in filesize, without having to remove frames?
decreasing the ammount of colours
I don't think it would look like much if you reduced the colors enough to get below 100K without removing frames.
You can pull a bunch of frames and still it don't look too bad...
i was just saying another way to get it down without removing frames as bender said, but nice job tite-wad, it looks better than the orig, it runs a bit smoother
Yes Livy, I didn't mean to imply that you were wrong... in fact I did reduce the colors! http://members.roadfly.com/tite-wad/thumb.gif
I was just pointing out that it had so many frames that it would require cutting the colors down to like - 2 - to get it under 100K.
The only other option I could think of was to reduce the canvas size - but that would make it harder to see. :geek:
Must be the seastar from Spongebob Squarepants (in the Dutch version they call him Patrick. I don't know waht ihis name is in the English version).Quote:

And if it's in black and white already, is there another way to compress or resize it?

Dunno 'bout Animation Shop - I used ULead.
A B/W image usually has several gray-colored pixels in it - so yes, I would think it could be reduced.
@ nostalgia - I think hes was asking about the size of his avy - 90743 bytes.
I would like to use the film "Titanic" as my avatar can you advise if the size is acceptable?
That did the trick, thanks. :)Quote:

you can do that in animation shop by using the optimisation wizzard, cant think of any other ways other than removing frames and actually making the image itself smaller, e.g 80x80 resize to 70x70 etc

This avatar was 163kb with 127 colors, but I managed to reduce it to 89kb with 15 colors, without significant loss of quality.
What's up with the blurry frames? http://members.roadfly.com/tite-wad/nervous.gifQuote:

Drunk and hallucinating - look at the buildings.
It's from a Felix The Cat cartoon from 1930 (Woos Whoopee), very progressive for it's time and well worth downloading. :D
