They reminds me of a poster I had back in my University days (couldn't afford art then). It was a cover from the Magazine - The New Yorker, and it was entitled "A New Yorker's View of the World" It followed a similar concept, except the center of the world was the city, and by the time one got to the rest of the world, it was simply absurd.
