it basically refers to the date of the warez, which means they are released on the same day or even earlier as the originals.
it's also widely used to describe trackers that focus on scene releases.
Used by software pirates to describe material (software, music, movies) released the same day it hits stores
oic makes sense,...here i thought it was some kind of plugin for photoshop lol

i was talking about zero-day attacks and exploitation of zero-day vulnerabilities. it's an computer security issue and has nothing to do with warez :DQuote:

yes it does. 0day refers to the time it has been around on the net. 0day is less than 24 hours from hitting the net. exploits are the same way. warez or not 0day can be used as a very broad term.
but in torrent terminology it has different meaning in terms of its practical application.
0day packs are basically apps, patches, sometimes cracks, there are never 0day pack with movies or other stuff.
yeah true, i was always unsure of what 0day meant, my understanding was that it was the pre-release stuff of like warez
