If you are looking for a community ThePlace is definitely a very good place to hang out.

Try your local pub or bingo hall or youth club, they have great communities.

Most torrent sites have good forums if you go to the forums.
They don't have to be well known for their communities.
I see some good forums in your signature bars alone, who knows what other good forums you're over looking over.
ThePlace is awesome if you're into any of the content and want to talk about that kind of stuff.
