I don't think they like their invites given away. (I just read that invite stance thread). Just saying so you know. :)
Perhaps you misread it.
If they give out invites to users, that means invites are allowed to give it out - as long as giving out to user with good record (ratio proofs, good/long standing history, willing to share) but not cheater or trader.
