going to a trip, what can i do to keep my all torrents accounts active?

hi all,
i am going on a trip next Friday for 6 month to south America,
and i don't want to lose all my accounts for inactivity.
most of them are really important to me .
just wondered what can i do to keep my popular trackers active while i am not here .
any suggestions?

1, keep seeding :D

2, let a friend manage your accounts , let him login once in a while

3, talk to staff

6 months the best way is park your account....If that is available in the tracker....

if you are gona use option 3 , staff will tell you to use option 2

so u'll leave ur computer open and ur house can catch fire, watchout mate :)

your best bet is to talk to staff, 6 months is too long to park an account

Quite a few trackers delete your account before the 6 months are over, even when you parked it. Using a RSS downloader for half a year when you're not even at home is just ridiculous, not at all foolproof and will cost a bunch of money.

The best option is to talk directly to the staff, they should be able to keep your account safe but don't expect a positive response from every tracker.

everywhere you go now on a trip you have Internet cafe, unless you have 9 sites it is possible to log once in a week to your accounts.

1. go get a seedbox
2. in each trackers you have, download at least one torrent from your seedbox, you also could choose the torrent with lots of leechers
3. after download, just keep these torrents active for another 6 months
4. don't forget to tell the staff on each tracker

I don't know how long you are planning to go on vacation, but I have been away as many as 10 days without logging on and did not experience any problems. None of my accounts were parked.

Park the accounts that you can. The ones you can't, you can always recover once you get back from the irc channel.

@ fusionz : some trackers don't like it when you access your account from another country because it usually is a good method of recognizing traded accounts. This is not generally true but if someone wants to keep his account the best way is to talk with the staff.

@ DannyGnXz : the starting post clearly mentioned an absence of 6 months and that's way over the usual inactivity time.

@ fstokebanget : trackers prune inactive accounts when users do not visit their site - what you seed doesn't matter or count against inactivity so the whole purpose of renting a seedbox is to spend money on something that doesn't help you anyway.
