TB Account Disabled for nothing :(

HI,

i had a Torrentbytes.net account, and i tried to visit today.. i could not log in because it says my account is disabled :( i dont know why this happened, I had a damn good ratio, it was FREE LEECH in december, and I uploaded many GB to the community and now i got disabled :cry: I was a POWER USER man:( I also cant contact any members of staff to talk to, because i cant log in. So i'm asking please, are here any members from Torrentbytes, who can contact an admin for me, and tell em to reactivate my account. :) That would be great. my username was: onyx2007 same as here.

this is really weird, cuz my laptop is also 24/7 on, seeding to torrentbytes, and I get disabled for nothing.. I also never had anm warning or something like that.

any help is welcome guys :) please help me get my account back:happy:

I just checked for your username, but there's no onyx2007 there, try to talk with the staff at their IRC : #Torrentbytes @ irc.p2p-network.net

only thing u can do is signup again, i guess it has open signups right now

yes it opens for new signup, but that means he should start it all over from the beginning

Go to there support channel on IRC and talk to someone on there and I am sure if you speak with a staff member you will get an answer.

or send one of the staff members thats here on FST a PM but you probably would get a better and faster response by going on there IRC channel.

There is TB staff around here sometimes, you might get lucky.

the site is nothing like it used to be, and has very few torrents compared to other sites.
good forum community, thats about it though. i got the staff to delete my account not too long ago (along with any other site i wasnt active on anymore, wasnt just that i didnt like tb).

Please don't speculate on why someones account was disabled especially when you hint at a rule that doesn't even exist on torrentbytes.

It doesn't matter how much or little you download on tbytes, you will never get disabled for not downloading.

But either way i have offered the original poster the option of contacting me if he requires an explanation.

Also whilst we are always open for signups the 60,000 userlimit is full so accounts only become available as and when the system cleans out disabled accounts.

So i guess yes we are technically open for signups, but we are also currently full :)

Just join another 0day site, there are quite a few which are like more or less the same in content and speed.

I know this is an old post, but I also just got disabled this morning. No idea why and can't find out. Was seeding continuously from last night until about an hour ago when I closed Transmission as I needed the bandwidth to get some work done. When I jumped back on an hour later I was taken to the logon screen instead of automatically being logged in.
When I then tried to log in it said my account was disabled. Do they randomly kick people off? I don't get it - I have no idea why I was disabled and I can't contact them either. Has this happened to anyone recently? :(

if you have no idea why you got disabled, ask THEM in the irc chan...

Why come here just to ask that and bump a old thread instead of looking for a CR?

I was logged in until this morning but I hadn't physically logged in (with username and password) for about a month.

Give me a break guys, I'm new at this. Never asked for help before via this mechanism, googled it and this came up. I've now got the message loud and clear - won't use an old thread again.
