I use for couple of months,i got few invitations,but mostly with open signup
I started using private trackers over two years ago. It was open-signup
5 years now (WOW) with open signup
for year and half
3 years--starting with Bitsoup and TorrenTiT.
3+ years when i learned about empornium :lol:
its been only a few months for me but, i am looking to build up my ratio on each site and gain invites so i can get into higher leval trackers.
1,5 years +/-
started off with Torrentleech and torrentbytes.

More than 3 years.
I canīt remember exactly, I just recall that I used the first client created by Cohen, and also remember that was no easy to find downloads, I think Suprnova was my first tracker.

My mom told me about BT and Demonoid, so I signed up there, but it was still an open tracker for the most part at that time.
I saw someone talking about OiNK once, probably in a comment, and I clicked the link to the site, and noticed it was for music, so I realized I had to become a member.
I wound up getting an invite to OiNK through lastfm
and the rest is history.

Somthing like 3-4 years ago, but i didn't like the speed, so i moved to USENET, until 4 months ago, than decided to give another chance to BT, bc i heard about the improvement and i have to say that i am impressed.

In beginning i have use public sites in that time i didint know abouth private trackers,and then i have search something abouth torrents and i found some thread abouth them.
my first signup on private tracker was Bitsoup from open signups of course
about 3 years, first DJ GT made some of his mixes available via torrent and was advertising that option, so I tried to figure out the whole thing, then mininova, and TT as my first closed tracker, was open for signups then :)

i think it had to be around 2002 when i was first introduced to BT. my brother (a jam band fan) had heard that people were tape-sharing and such through this bit torrent and since he didn't know much about computers i was enlisted to figure it out for him. it wasn't until i got invited to oink a little over a year ago that i realized the speeds bittorrent took over almost all of my file sharing from dc++/soulseek

Think i signed up for that a month after it opened. It have to be around 4-5 years ago.
