People have told me that unless you have good upload speed, it's very hard to keep a good ratio there. My download max is about 600 kB/sec and my upload is around 45 kB/sec. Do I have much of a chance of staying alive at SCC? :unsure:

just leave your files seeded and you'll be fine :)
Yes. I have 1.5Mbps download, 256Kbps upload and I do fine.
You can download run-of-the-mill scene files from other general 0-day trackers, and help seed them on SCC without actually downloading them.
most ppl using seedboxes there, but if you can have your pc up for 24/7 there should be no problem

Yeah, I just noticed the free leech section, which is pretty cool. Since I have such a huge buffer at TL, I guess I could download some stuff there and seed it at SCC if it comes to that.

i have 230 gb buffer on my scc and i use my home (2 mbits up) connection.
I started doing what DanielleD87 said, that is, RSS downloading the MP3/0day section. All I can say is thank god I just bought an external HDD a few weeks ago.
-even if there are no peers on your seeded(completed) files, keep them open and i doubt that you'll be given a warning for being a leech
must admit though there are some damn fast boxes on their site that makes seeding popular files almost impossible,,i've seen gigabit seeds a few times on some files ;-
yeah its not hard to seed there :S
just keep seeding for along time i has the same problem of u but seeding files for lon time will build your ratio

be careful with what you dl there. as its been said use the mp3 section for a small boost and if you see a dvd thats gonna be big or a new game those are big enough and popular enough to help us little guys as long as we only grab a couple rars, grab 2-3 rars or about 100-150 MB's worth early and seed the crap out of it. i have those same speeds(u got comcrap?) and with about 100 MB downloaded i can seed 2-3 GB from a popular dvd or game on most trackers.

This is a really good way to boost your ratio, dl popular movies, tvshows and just go there to re-check and seed seed seed. Thats how i do it and im able to keep a good ratio any site that is usually "hard" to seed at :DQuote:
