seeing as there is no members online list anymore
how about having something like under there join date
like:
this member is offline
this member is online
so we will know wen a member posts something if they are online or not
i think this is a good idea
That sounds like a good idea to me. The answer I am afraid will be something like, " That's not possible as it's not in the software!" I hope that the on/line member list returns soon, as that is in the software.Quote:

I already brought this idea up for discussion to the Mod's and Admin's. Waiting to see the likelihood of it and if it is even doable with this forum software. One question brought up was:

a very observant observation clocker.
I think we just need to get the list back up....why did they even take it down? The list is sort of useful so u can know who is on.

I think the intent was to be able to know whether the poster was still online.
So you'd know if they'd see your reply or Personal Message. :rolleyes:

I think things have been much better since the recent changes. I would hate to see things return to where they were. That would be a backward step.
I really like the pinned list of mods being on or off as well. A good compromise.
scribblec, put it in your sig, people can still see it there and you won't have to spam advertise. If it's already there then there is no need to post it.

I agree with this idea, there is no proof (yet) that getting rid of the members online list has made any improvement, as it was removed almost at the same time as the guestroom. It would be a good idea to see what the "majority"of members think, by holding a poll.
