trying to recover tb account info and it's asking for a verify code (pin code) wtf is that?
A couple of months ago everyone got a PM with a pin number which you have use to recover.
it is a private code that TB staff has pmed to each member, you will need to know this 4 digit code if you want to change pass/email/passkey.

all members received a pm with their own pincode a while ago.

That 4 digits in your email is your pincode

Anyway i think he got the picture...
Existing members received their pincode via an on site PM.
New members initially received their pincode via email.
Now everyone receives the pincode in the introductory pm when they join the site.
Anyone losing the code and needing to recover it will be given their code, but their account will be suspended for 7 days before they can use it.
Horatiu is right, you should have the 4-digit pin in your confirmation email. When I needed to recover login information it worked perfectly too.
Take denise119 advice since he is actually staff on TB and you could also try going to there support channel on IRC.
