My friend say PU on TL are given invites now and its open?

Yea, that's what I thought. TL invites have been closed for a very long time, but I'm sure most pl around here already know that. Come on TL, open up!

from the non-member point of view i can truly understand that you want invites or even open signups.

from the member point of view i have to say i like it closed and without invites.

if anything is a number one target for authorities right now, it's tl.

i just don't want to see one of my favorite trackers go down.

i don't need invites - i need a tracker that won't get busted.

in my opinion the best that they can do is keep invites closed as long as possible.

My thoughts exactly.
TL popped into my head after OiNK got busted because they have a fairly large userbase.
They should really keep a low profile fow now...

the answer is-- they announced a teaser saying expect a surprise for their birthday..
still waiting on it.

From a members point of view whats the big deal ? I never see anything earth shattering on there that Revtt or Ipt does n't have before or with more choice .


Mind you I'm more of a Software nut anyway but just my opinion . Christ even the start ups like Leecherslair give more to their members than that primadona site .

It's more the sentimental value.

I actually agree on this. It's a wonderful tracker that has had alot of problems in the past and almost shut down twice. So i think i like it better sealed off until they come up with a better sign-up invite system in the future. Believe it or not, their still going after all the people who sold their invites and account traders. It will be awhile... that Oink fisaco scared them off and i can't blame them.

Im a member of TL and i have been since near the begining and to me it really is a sentimental thing since its one of my first trackers. But im still waiting for my surprize and the surprize probably wont be invites because most of the members could care less about invites, most of them would like FREE leech.

i don't even care about freeleech. who needs freeleech on tl? the tracker is soooo easy to seed back.

freeleech would just result in unnecessary high server load.

Well that sucks because I too was hoping they would give PU an invite or two.

Although I understand why they don't do that with all the trading going on.

As far as TL being open for invites, I had a friend tell me that this rumor was started by an Elite member at Bitme.org. It spread around really quickly, but there was no credibility to it whatsoever.

Also, new members can be invited by w00t, flood and NEO, so there are a few who join up every now and then.

Yes only the mods themselves can invite you. I think you also can get an account by making a donation not sure if their still doing that.
