One being I'm from the west coast, the second being that he was one of the first rappers i heard. Dear Mama was the song. I didn't hear biggie untl about a year later when he came out with Big Poppa.

The Notorious B.I.G. was my favorite rapper but substance wise i would choose Tupac. Now for lyrical ability and delivery B.I.G. would win. I miss the way hip-hop use to be. I do it for a living but the game bores me more and more everyday.
Tupac beacuse of Hit Em Up.
Hit Em Up was a good song but Tupac had some many other great songs like Dear Mama, Pain, Holler If You Hear Me, Keep Your Head Uo, Riding On My Enemies, Papa'z Song, I can go on and on. Hip-Hop is so wack now. I only check for Jedi Mind Tricks, Immortal Technique, and Joell Ortiz.
Ye, he do have some great other songs. Keep your head up is a very nice track lyrically.

Keep your head up is what first made me like him. I couldn't stand "I Get Around" at the time. Now going back and listening to everything hes done he is a rap legend and inspired me to continue to do and live hip-hop. Biggie as well.Quote:

Pac had more hits due to being in the industry longer. It's ashame that they both died. Biggie was my favorite rapper of all time, but Tupac had the best stories involving struggle, pain, the ghetto (where i'm from), poverty, among other things.
