i dont use any AV For almost a year and i will never use any AV Again
just use ISR software like, Deep Frezee, FirstDefense or Returnill or rolback rx or any backup image, if i download any file i scaned on virustotal
and from time to time i scan my pc online or download a trial version of any AV and allways come clean, then i restore my pc back and the AV Trial goes away
i'm using avg. it's free and it's good.
That's weird, have you tried another version of nod32? it really is a good antivirus
Nod32 is the best now
Nod32 is best. Try to make it work, it's worth it.
If you've got any keygens or cracks you will probably get fed up of your software being deleted with the false positives if you use AVG, I know I did.
Consequently I've tried most of the well known products in the last couple of weeks, and Nod32 easily comes out top of the list. Make sure you get the latest version (3.0.621.0)
I say KAV ftw.
KAV ftw also
Nod32 is only for people with computers that can't run KAV
Has to be Nod32 mainly coz i cant run KAV with my quad core, 4gb ram beast of a sytem
I agree with the masses NOD32 hands down.Light on resources and does it's job well while staying out of the way.
I'm on the fence as like both Nod and Kav , two of the best and anyone with a bit of time can find cracks or keys for either . I prefer an AIO program for security ,just think they work so well if sharing files .
Kaspersky has a higher learning curve but well worth it if you config right . Eset better out of the box and very P2P friendly so its a trade off .
I'm using Eset Smart Security for my antivirus/antispyware/firewall and I've never been happier with my protection. Small memory footprint and no viruses or spyware to speak of. Eset Smart Security is the new cousin of Nod32 by the way.
I would say KAV because I had Nod once and I have to say that for sure he was very fast but although he found many viruses he couldn't delete some of them and also after making an on-line scan with Kaspersky it found 2 other viruses that Nod didn't so....up for the KAV!
NOD32 gets my vote too.
Nod32 is the best for now
I would use KAV or NOD32. Using NOD32 at the moment because it's unintrusive and gets the job done.
Best:
Kaspersky Internet Secutiry 7
Kaspersky Anti Virus + Outpost Firewall
NOD32 + Outpost Firewall
ESET
nod32 all the way..
yea i ll also go for Nod32 then ..lastest one ..!!
eset smart security is the best :)
i use KIS and it's working perfectly
I tried bit defender, but it really slowed down my system. Now i'm back with avast.
Use Kaspersky AntiVirus 7.0.0.125 dd . Work perfect for me. Just from time to time find on net right keys and everything is great !
use symantec,i think tats the best
i am not talking about symantec corp's norton AV.there is another AV,just symantec
Kaspersky gets my vote
I am also having some trouble with Nod connecting to the network when updating. I installed 3.0.621 and got the same problem. so I installed the business edition (3.0.621) and again the same problem.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Can anyone suggest something?
(and yea, I can't contact eset for support, if you're wondering...)
If you do not have any top-secret government files, or store your entire financial repertoire on your PC, and are fairy computer-savvy, you do not really need an anti-virus or even a firewall. I only think Anti-Virus programs are for those people who do not understand the internet and click popups that say things like.."FREE LAPTOPS/NAKED BOOBS" while downloading 2KB EXE files all the live long day. You just have to be smart about your internet surfing and downloading habits. Do not download things that have 1012091092 seeds and are 2KB in size. Read comments posted about things you are downloading. If you are use Firefox and keep your operating system up to date, there is no reason why you should get a virus from using the internet.
At least in my experience anti-virus programs that are on "auto-protect" take up massive amounts of system resources. Just for your computer to fire them up when logging on makes your computer want to explode.
KAV+Bitdefender for sure !!!!!!! NOD32 is for user who cannot use the 2 first cited antivirus :D
I think norton is gud for now ..kaspersky 7.xx is takin up a lotta sys resources ...!! dint ny1 try fr mcafee .??
Nod32 without a question.
I use Kaspersky Internet Security and working fine for me!
try avg
