I usually use Rev** and SCC. (Yesterday I joined TL.)
I don't care for lvl and pre-time.
Dl speed, more rare movie pack, to keep ratio easily is important.
Rev** is good. To maintain good ratio is very easy.
But SCC is very hard to seed. (pre-time is cool...)
How about S*T? Do I need it?
To keep ratio is difficult?
I wouldn't be a collector.

S*T is harder than SCC, period... if you don't hit it the second it's out, ratio is hard to get.
Of course that all depend on your connection... but for normal DSL users, it's hell among the seedboxers ;)
Short answer is No, you don't need it, but you'll try to get it anyway. SCT has same content as TL but for some reason everyone wants an account.

It is not extreamly hard to maintain ratio, but you do have to help this by dling stuff when it first comes out, even just partially if you don't need the release. A week or 2 of that, and you'll have enough of a buffer to DL what you wish. From then on its very easy to maintain a good ratio IMO.
TL, Rev & SCC is all I need.
I keep TD & Bitsoup only because they have a ton of hard to find files.
And of course everyone loves waffles
TL usually uploads packs from ScT
So if you don't care about pretimes or levels just stick with TL. It's the same thing ...just a longer delay for releases.
If u dont have a box SCC and S*T are almost impossible to seed.
If have, say..., TL, Rev++ and TvTorrents ( why not??) u r covered for general Movie and TV stuff.
If u r a tracker collector ( and I think there r many ) S*T and a BitM*TV are a must!!:w00t:

BT collectors are just ridiculous and you should really keep sites that you'll use. Otherwise, what's the point of having all these sites if it's just for a longer e-penis? I understand how some want sites for its community but most people who says that don't really actually mean it.
To answer your question: no, you do not need SCT. RevTT and SCC is more than sufficient and in fact, SCC can be said to parallel SCT in speeds and pre-times.
In regards to keeping ratios, perhaps it'll be a good idea to get your common from RevTT and use SCC for the new releases (in order to have a better chance at seeding back).
However, if you like music or the such, perhaps Waffles or What would be a wise choice. Public trackers sometimes have what you're looking for but for older stuff, those trackers will come in handy.
very refreshing to see someone asking around if they really need s*t instead of random "desperately need s*t" threads opened in most cases by people who have no knowledge of what it has to offer.
frankly, if content is all you seek, you dont really need it. imagine begging your ass all across the invite section till you get s*t (people claim to have waited for "years" to get in), then finding out that not only is all the content the same that you already have access too, but you gonna have a hard time seeding as well. if it comes to you then accept it as a gift, but you dont need to go looking for it, trust me.
stop searching be happy with what you are having, even you dont need private trackers,using public trackers is enough for
you.... so give all your private trackers to me :naughty:

in one word: no, you don't. Sct has around the same contents as TL and RevTT. If you are into a pack thing, then i would with no question add TTi to your list instead sct. TTi has probably the hugest selection of packs i've ever seen, and many are freeleech or 2x up.
definitely u will profit more from having TTi than ScT.
ScT is way too much of a hassle to be a main site. Ratios are impossible to keep without rss etc. You will be fine with TL/Revott/scc. TL and revott are dead easy to keep a ratio, and scc is always good when you are waiting for you favourite tv show, and want it as fast as possible.

No seedbox here and my ratio at SCC is 3.0.

No, you dont need it. I think SCC is great, they have great packs too. Some of which the site we are talking about dont have. If you're happy with RevTT, stick with it. It's awesome but I dont like its design.
Then there is the R3 release of AvP2 movie, which is great quality in my opinion. RevTT and TL had it like 3 days earlier than these so called scene trackers. What do you think about that?
Your pretty much set, scc for the pre's tl/revtt for content. Theres no real need for SCT, the only thing they would lack to SCT would be packs... but otherwise you will be fine.

Honestly I don't understand why people don't just set up a ratioless site that requires you to have a seedbox, it'd work about the same.

If you have SCC, Sct is nothing but redundant. Honestly I use SCC alot more. SCT is nice and has some good backs, but it is harder to seed at and not worth begging for an invite. Like someone else said, if it is offered to you as a gift take it, but if you are not a collector dont waste your time going after it.
Dont get me wrong, it is a great site, with great speeds and pretimes, but there are others out there just as good
