just move anything dodgy away from the desktop and it should be ok
If AGP cards worked with PCI slots, we wouldn't need AGP slots now would we? :P

hahah news at 11, guy takes his pc in to have a agp card installed, and they find out hes the worlds most elite hacker. :D
Do you mean you dont have ANY pci slots free (open) (meaning you have a shit load of add on cards in your pc) or do you mean you don't have any pci slots?
If it's the latter... look again, every computer (except for those olf 486's and stuff) have pci slots. Most new motherboards have at least 5 pci slots and 1 AGP slot.
Dunno whats happening with your computer. You shouldv'e just bought an AGP card, they're faster than the pci graphic cards anywayz.
You physically cannot put an AGP card into a PCI slot.
Look.

And it's highly unlikely that your motherboard has no PCI slots, unless they are all full as AcidReign suggested.
You also said, "my PC has AGP slots" - I have never heard of a motherboard that came with more than one AGP slot.
thats an old board, ISA's ewwwww lol
Lamsey, use a little imagination.Quote:

A little work with a craft knife and hacksaw and you can fit anything to anything.
Don't tell me you haven't learnt how to lean on a board that doesn't want to fit. ;)
i did, one of my ram chips was a little to bit. :) a file sorted that out. :D
Yeah, did you know that if you seal up one of the notches in SDRAM with plasticine, you can put it in a DDR slot? :D
would it still work though???
Yeah sure, try it and see! :DQuote:

/me is worried
i wasnt to sure, i was kinda more to the taking the piss side.
If you look at the notches you'll quickly see that I'm talking shit ;)
i guess i do have a PCI slots i just wasnt pushing the card in hard enough so i thought it didnt fit so i assumed it was a APG slot
sorry for my stupidity
No need for a file. Just ram it in.  :-"Quote:
