To my knowledge myspleen is the only one tracker that i have and know of that bans 1.7.7. Download and use Azureus as an alternative for the trackers that do not permit utorrent 1.7.7

About the 1.7.7, BCG dont alow to.
Works for me. I use 1.7.7. and am currently seeding two torrents from BCG. If stoi tells me differently, i will immediately stop seeding my torrents in the utorrent 1.7.7 client.
edit: i'm only seeding one torrent at this time.

If your unsure just pm the staff that don't allow and also pm them to double check and make sure if they do allow version 1.7.7. or not. Most trackers are advertising it on their main page. I don't think BCG is any different even though i didn't see anywhere on the main page or in the faq and rules, stating they did ban utorrent 1.7.7.

Azureus is safe on every tracker except for WB. It uses a lot resources than uTorren, but that shouldn't matter if you got a decent computer.Quote:

yeah there might be the reason ur firewall might be hiding the site as an exception

I hate Azureus it uses up too much cpu resource. Especially with the plug-ins you need to really make it a good usable bt client. squirrl3 using both 1.6.1 and 1.7.7. concurrently gives you no issues?

So there is no risk using those clients -
We only allow the 1500 and 1600 versions of that client.
Actually, I find it amazing that people use that client or Bittorrent.
