damn, i had him lined up
what about Madonna on her last song?? :P
does that qualify?
p.s. hope you know i'm kidding about linkin park btw...
Lol, Nelly and Jarule are not hardcore! They are Hollywood-ized rappers ..just like 50 cent.
NAS maybe..Wu Tang Clan is probably the most "hardcore" of the "well knowns" in my opinion. David Banner is pretty hardcore IMO and Chingy is allright too...to name some popular ones.
Notorious B.I.G., Scarface, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, Ice-T. NWA, and KRS 1 aren't as popular these days as they used to be but they are all definiteley hardcore in my book.

M.O.P.
Cormega

Ghostface Killah
Gza
Hot Boys
Killer Mike
Lox
Redman
Sticky Fingaz
Wu-Tang Clan

What do you mean by hardcore anyway.. someone who puts on a front to pretend to be hardcore (50 Cent) or someone who really is (NWA, Public Enemy). I think hardcore doesnt mean getting shot 9 times, it means rapping about shit besides bitches and drugs, and thats what the quality rappers do.
i couldn't agree moreQuote:

50 cent may have been shot 9 times, may have been a drug dealer, whatever, but in comparison to some of the rappers listed here, he's as bubblegum as Ja Rule...:P
Ja Rule is a girl ;)
agree 100%.
Wonders if people really took 3rd gen and myself's rant at the start seriously or not...cause it was a joke...*duh* ;)
lol yea.. i didnt think you were that silly.
I dunno...bubba sparxx is gangstar tough :lol:Quote:

i agree totaly with everybody regarding 50 cent, just because he got shot 9 times doesnt mean he can rap and the only way he got famous cuz he made fun of ja rule, and there was a time when everybody liked ja rule then suddenly 50 cent came into the picture and dissed him and now everybody hates ja rule. and artists/groups like scarface, run dmc, nwa, afrika bambaataa are the real stars.
in the words of eminem "It ain't gangsta to get shot"
and how 50 cent was all underground.. and somehow everyone says they knew about him 5 yrs ago before he was big. its so annoying.
thats another thing everybody like praises 50 cent now but when u ask them how was 50 cent 5 years ago, ppl are like "HUH!!!!!"
