for that prices i go with http://giga-international.com/ ;)

If you can tell us more, what kind of set up you going for
We can give you more info what 2 go for.. Because there are so many seedboxs out there for that prices
If you only want to rent for 1 month, there are better options than having to pay any set up fees to any company of course.
If you want unlimited for 3 months or more, then hosting beats all other mid-range boxes hands down.
The only boxes better than hosting are what you pay for, and if you are not an uploader, then why bother?
im just looking for a 1 month seedbox with atleast 1tb-2tb bandwith aim looking to like donwload or upload more than 1tb-or 2tb i just want to get one as my upload speed is slow and just want to try out a seedbox for the first time and want to which one is for me right now im thinking of buying the cheapest one which is good for first time buyer but must have a good upload speed.
mega thanks for everyone replying
I think I have deza vu (or what ever the French guys call it)
many thread about seedbox
I think its better to make 1 sticky with all the servers companies and all the info
Casper as for you... try go with dedibox or ovh, no contract there
what is ovh?
use google.
im thinking of buying the ovh superplan is this server any good?
no
why not which one is good could someone help me please on choosing
OVH is a server company just like all the others that have been mentioned here, however you have to be in a specific country. http://www.ovh.co.uk/
Leaseweb is decent you can try them also. http://www.leaseweb.com/
thanks briand5379 im thinking of purchasing one from leasweb or vectrol but are there any servers that work with windows xp as im used to using windows xp but will try linux.
Dont buy one from vectoral. (outdated hardware, very high price for what you get)
The OS youll want on your server is Windows Web 2003. Then you will be able to remote login (via remote desktop) with a username and password, then it looks like your home pc's desktop.
For windows, I have the full tutorial in the FAQ link in my sig, as well as the setup of ftp with ssl.
Enjoy your new box.
so if i get a package from leaseweb and then i have to choose windows 2003 web base edition in the os screen so that means i will have to revert back to windows 2003 web edition?
thanks you all been a great help
You can do vectoral if you'd like keep in mind they charge you a little extra for windows. With leaseweb you can get the windows express server 1 which comes metered at 2kGB. Here's a link. http://www.leaseweb.com/index.php?p=dedicatedexpress
Thanks
