I'm going to look for some copy's somewhere..
I really loved that comic!
"Corto Maltese : Tango" by Hugo Pratt
and the whole "Kogaratsu" series by Bosse/Michetz
these are graphic novels but they were once just comics,
Steve Rolston/Brian Wood "Pounded"
Jim Mahfood "Grrl Scouts"
Becky Cloonan/Brian Wood "Jennie One"
My fav comics r
Marvel's Spider-Man 1-130 gets shit after that... and i do own the very first Spider-Man issuie 1 i had 2 work for 9 weeks solid but i got it... but i still can't afford Amazing Fantasy 15 the very first apperance of Spidey.. oh welll
I also like the Hulk....
and iam Partial 2 a bit of Batman but only if it has the Joker... i luv the Joker
Superman - first last and always.
Oh and I have posted this before, decide for yourself
http://www.viz.co.uk/default.htm?x=1
They have on-line comics to look at if you want.
Lamsey, there's no need to be so harsh, no-one is holding you personally responsible for viz, just because you sell it.
Viz is great sorry lamsey but how can you say its puerile?I would be hard pressed to find a kid that understood any of the jokes :blink:As for pathetic absolutely but isnt that what life is in general? ;)
As for my favorite comics they are both now graphic novels The dark knight returns and the dark knight strikes back 1&2..superman gets arse kicked in both so they gotta be good :D ...It hashes here later if anyone is interested or see cimics in a can by chalice :)
wolverine
spawn (first 15 issues or so)
 I personally haven't read comics in years---
until recently got into anime, and subsequently, manga
if mangas count, then:
gto (funny as hell, modern classic)
chobits (cool, a little perverted, but u don't let that faze u)
those all sound like pornos.Quote:

Never thought of that but they are not trust me
Pounded is a punk rock love story
Grrl Scouts is about three girls that sell drugs like girl scouts sell cookies.
Jennie One is about a girl against society today.
There by my favorite artists as well.
is any 1 reading the Spiderman comics
Ultimate Spider-Man
Yeah the spiderman saga's are very good.
Spawn is also good I think.
Ther was A 4 part series with wolverine where he was in japan and he had to fight someone with a sword. I still think that is one of the best 4 part comics I've ever seen.
Let's face it I'm in the bag for Marvel comics And allways have been.
always liked the x-men and the darkhorse comics, but generally go with who the artist is
The Darkness, Witchblade (Both Top Cow) and Spawn
Dark Knight Returns.
AD2000 judge dread.
