Rumors of demonoid's come back are constantely being spread around, but so far no demon.

The most authentic source of news on demonoid would be subdemon,so make sure you check in there before you believe any rumour.

Yes , it's a great site with great stuff and speeds and not only with the design of demonoid ! Maybe to it you reffer as the "next demonoid" .It already has about 7000 torrents .
I don't see it coming back either. Was one of my favorite and most used sites.
They say this is demonoid's http://torrentstorage.com/ other site.It was launched before demonoid was shutdown.When u dwnload a torrent(not all the torrents but few of them) u get the custom text file torrent downloaded from demonoid text.
Well, I think what you are getting it is that some of the rumours were based on the tracker working on and off (others clearly just random hopefuls and chinese whispers). The tracker is supposedly working again ATM, with the site itself now being hosted in Ukraine. Read this recent article for a more detailed report:

TBH, nobody other than the owners can really tell you one way or the other if it is coming back in full shape. All you can do is read up on the latest info and hope for the best.
An on a personal note, I'd be overjoyed to have it back too - it's the only dead torrent site I've ever missed so much.
Even if it came back, I think most of it's members have deleted it's torrent files from the BT client.
