New attempt to steal my FST - account

I got this recently:

"Dear Sylar666,

Your account on FileSharing Talk has been locked because someone has tried to log into the account with the wrong password more than 5 times. You will be able to attempt to log in again in another 15 minutes.

The person trying to log into your account had the following IP address: 72.20.4.190

It appears that some @sshole tried to steal my account here yet again. I never cease to amaze: what sense does it make? So be careful...there are some retards out there, without real life. Sad, however.:whistling

Well last week it happens to me twice times and before this i recover my pass. So be careful my friends.:(:(

Good to know this time the asshole couldn´t get it. :)

That happened to me yesterday, and 3 days ago. I tought it was some bug on the site, it's not?

Anyway i always stay logged in, even when i'm not here, there's no problem with that...

And instead of posting the IP here you should have sended it to the staff, so they catch who is doing it after he discover that he has been discovered... and probably is someone which is registered here... :(:(

ye same thing happen to me, like 2/3 times, but nutin has gone wrong yet with my acc.

Change your password often and don't use the same for other sites.

these same rule is for username too f.e. one for FST and different one for trackers.

Well, as I experienced of being pwned lately here (some jerk stole my acc a couple of weeks ago, and started some dumb threads), I try to be more careful. Not easy though...

same happened to me ...did a whois look up and this is wat i got

INFO REMOVED - that has nothing whatsoever to do with the actual attack. If that's all it was we would have just banned the IP.

i hope the staff/mods on FST can do something abt it

ye same thing happen to me but was a false alarm and nothing happened with my account :happy:

a friend of mine couldn't log in either with the same ip instructing him that hes password if not correct or something. its fixed now

yea ive gotten so many of those emails. who the fuck sits around trying to guess passwords? im sure they lead a fulfilling life...

That is the IP from which the recent attacks appear connected to. We're still working on a final solution.
