What's the point? Why are people always trying to compare trackers?
The point is that i'm interested in both trackers, but why should i need both when i'm specially interested in the packs? So the question.Quote:

ScT is much older community and has mmmmmany more packs, users and peers.
i would think sct would have a bigger verity of packs seeing it is has been aroung for a longer time....
I guess SCT has more because it has been around longer...

ScT has more packs, but many of the packs on ScL are free leech :)
like everyone else says, I would say ScT has more packs also. Although at ScL, more packs get uploaded per day than ScT.....
However, ScT is hard enough to upload on, but if you wanna download those huge packs specifically then it's gonna be a bitch to seed back.
ScL has an amazing amount of packs, with many more coming, and they're all freeleech. Plus, the community is pretty tight and if you want a pack of a certain something you could possibly request it.
I have ScL for it's amazing packs, and recently iTS has had some good ones too. But ScT I just have for really fast regualr 0-day downloads - tv, movies, etc.

Theres not point in counting the number of packs.. You are not gonna download Nicholas Cage Pack if you dont like his movies.. Just look for what you are interested in.

ScL has more packs ul'd daily than any other tracker on the net right now. More than sct and revtt and anybody else who dares compare themselves.
i think HDR assumes all packs are free leech
the difference is in the content they offer in the packs . its not about the number of packs . most sct packs contain already available releases packed in one torrent which you could download from other trackers individually
well scl has variety. stuff that isnt available everywhere

ScL has more movie packs, if thats your main interest. If you're interested in TV which is what ScT really excels in over ScL, I'd recommend Tv.T.ro or BitMeTV over it. Or if its music, there are handfuls of better sites for that also.
Plus, if you give ScT the amount of time ScT has had, I'm sure ScL will easily prevail in any sort of "who has more packs" war.

Beside, if someone really wants teenporn would it not be better to search in p0rn tracker by thesmef and download those that they think is good.

there are some users who can find some movie they want within the pack...but not much use.
@OP, I think freeleech on pack is plus for ScL. But at the same moment, most of the pack at ScT are not random (ex: complete XYZ TV series).
Do you prefer black or white, north or south, ying or yang, plus or negative, sour or sweet ie without both there would be no preference to base our choice on but yet we need both as they complement each other and offer different things for different people.

i think squirr2l pretty much cleared out that question, they are both unique with their packs really, the only that does seperate each other, is taht scl has freeleech on their packs

SCT has ~800 packs
ScL accepts non-scene releases in packs (ex: aXXo). It's unfair to compare scene packs to non-scene packs in my opinion.
And dont forget TBytes. There are many scene packs with 60,000 users. And packs are all free to leech.
I like ScL because the packs are freeleech and they have alot to choose from :)
I still don`t understand why pp like so much to compare scl with others trackers...
all those people saying ScL has amazing packs should look @ TorrentBytes, its got ~900 packs all free leech... but TB gets overlooked cos its not super hard to get into.

ScT, hard to seed? Since when? All the packs I've leeched from ScT have 3+ ratio and my upstream is über crappy. You just need to seed for a bit more than few days.
So it's more like
ScT -> Lots of packs, lots of peers, no freeleech, easy to seed.
SCL -> Quite many packs (most of them leeched off from SCT), few peers, freeleech, hard to seed
It's like 5th 'scl vs sct' thread. What are you trying to prove here scl fans? there's no competition
