which songs did you listen to? not all are like that
and if you dont like mudvayne for yelling, youre not gonna like slipknot either

Trapt, Deftones, In Flames, Soilwork, Darkest Hour, Chimaira, Norma Jean, Spineshank, Taproot. Not all metal, but good nonetheless.
