was thinking of getting virgin media for tinternet and tv and if there usenet access is decent im sold.

Their new server has all of the groups, previously it had a limited amount.
Speeds max my broadband out. I get around 1.25 MB/s
I can't comment on retention as I download stuff fairly quickly.
It's included in the price of broadbands so no extra charge.
No download limits that I've ever seen.
yeah ive been using it at the girlfriends like and itsdestroyingmuch faster than my newshosting account with the speed.

It really is like much better.
with newshosting i get a steady 1780 kbs or so on grabit, using the virgin media i was hitting 2200 on the xbox games last night.
it makes me not want to come home, when all i have here is 800kbs or so, damn living 400 yards from the exchange.
And also, all of the groups now, like boneless and stuff.
